Warranty Policy
Every product we sell is backed by the original manufacturer warranty. Here's how it works.
Full Manufacturer Coverage
Every product we sell carries the original manufacturer warranty — no third-party gray-market gear.
Varies by Brand
Coverage length and terms vary by manufacturer and product line. Check the documentation included with your order.
We Help You Through It
Claims go through the manufacturer, but our team will guide you start to finish.
How Warranty Coverage Works
When you buy from Mowers Gardens, your product comes with the same manufacturer warranty you'd get buying directly from the manufacturer or any authorized dealer — because we are an authorized retailer for every brand we carry.
Warranty coverage typically protects you against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover damage from misuse, improper assembly, accidents, lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear (blades, belts, filters, batteries past expected life, etc.).
Specific terms — what's covered, for how long, and what's required to maintain coverage — are set by each manufacturer. Always read the warranty card or owner's manual that comes with your product.
What's Not Covered
Manufacturer warranties typically do not cover:
-
Normal wear-and-tear items (blades, belts, filters, spark plugs, batteries past rated cycles)
-
Damage from improper use, modification, or unauthorized repairs
-
Damage from accidents, impacts, water exposure, or environmental factors not specified in the manual
-
Damage from improper or skipped maintenance
-
Damage during customer-handled assembly (read the manual carefully)
-
Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect function
-
Items used commercially when the warranty is for residential use only
-
Products with serial numbers removed or altered
For full exclusions, refer to the warranty documentation included with your product.
Keep Your Warranty Valid
To keep your warranty in force, manufacturers typically require you to:
-
Use the product as intended (residential use vs. commercial use is a common distinction)
-
Follow all maintenance schedules in the owner's manual
-
Use only manufacturer-approved parts and fluids
-
Save your purchase receipt and warranty card
-
Register the product with the manufacturer (often online) within the time window listed
-
Keep the product's serial number intact
We recommend registering every major purchase with the manufacturer the day it arrives — it takes 5 minutes and protects your coverage.
What If My Product Is Damaged on Arrival?
Damage during shipping is handled separately from warranty claims. If your order arrives damaged:
-
Take photos of the packaging and the damage immediately
-
Note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing (especially for freight)
-
Email info@mowersgardens.com within 48 hours of delivery
We'll arrange a free replacement or refund — see our Return Policy for full details. Do not file a warranty claim for shipping damage; we handle that directly.
